About Bexley, OH

Bexley, OH, is a first-ring suburb of Columbus famous for its close-knit historic neighborhoods and classic and walkable Main Street environment. Bexley is also known for its beautiful trees. It was established as one of the earliest suburbs of Columbus more than 112 years ago along the banks of Alum Creek. Bexley has a large collection of historic houses and estates, located primarily in Bullitt Park. It is the home of the president of The Ohio State University, and it is also where the Ohio Governor’s Mansion is located, which is in the northern part of Bexley.

Bexley is also famous for being the home of Capital University. The population is 13,770. Bexley as a village was a merger between the prominent community of Bullitt Park from the north and the Lutheran college community of Pleasant Ridge, which was located on the southern side.
